Joey Lucius
Co-writer for comedy series LUPITA
Joey Lucius is a writer and performer based in Edmonton, Alberta where he has been improvising with Rapid Fire Theatre since 2007. He’s performed with companies and participated in festivals all over the continent including The Calgary Improv Games, The Vancouver Sketch Comedy Festival, The Big City Improv Festival in Toronto, Curious Comedy Theatre in Portland, Oregon, and the Dad’s Garage World Domination Improv Tournament in Atlanta, Georgia.

Joey has spent 3 seasons working as a principal cast member on YTV’s Canadian Screen Award nominated series That’s So Weird (2009-2012). The series earned him a Canadian Comedy Award for Best Ensemble Television Performance. Other television credits include Working the Engels (Global, NBC) and Orphan Black (Space, BBC America).

Multi-talented Joey, also made writing contributions to E-Town (Mosaic Entertainment) and Felt Up (Bite TV).
Joey, his brother Gordie and Joleen Ballendine are the writers behind the half-hour comedy pilot LUPITA developed by No Problem Productions with creator/producer Eva Colmers.
